Help us find the tallest and widest trees in
Melrose MA

All Melrose students in grades K-12 can work as a team or solo to be the first to identify what they believe to be the largest tree(s) by species in Melrose. If you’re out and enjoying the weather, why not find more than one!!!! (Tree capture form) Sample trees can be found on the Walking Tour Overview. Many species are not listed in the Walking Tour Overview so feel free to find something new!!!
At the end of the scavenger hunt a set of verifiers will survey the top three trees by species to confirm the species, height, and circumference.
